At its very core, parties are about the people gathered and the stories shared over the table. With this in mind, Edward and Tea put together a styled shoot that fostered an inviting social setting—a more laidback party, if you will. But it came with the authenticity that more glamorous parties sometimes lack.
Copper Delights is a fresh, unfussy approach to parties. Heavily inspired by industrial interior design, the setup featured a strong blue color, metal and steel materials, and polished finishes. It had an incredibly utilitarian appeal on its own, so to create a balance, we juxtaposed organic matter against it.
Green foliage and copper elements breathed life into the set up. The tropical colors warmed up the palette, making the table a lot cozier and more inviting. The flowy structure of the leaves also dressed up the table and softened what would have been a cold, edgy aesthetic.
The light fixture showed in one of the images is actually made out of palm husk which we’ve sprayed with copper to help tie in the overall theme.
Celebrations are never without a tempting menu, of course. For this one, we stuck to the theme by curating a selection of zesty dishes made with light ingredients and fresh produce.
